Start of registration Allgäu Triathlon 2023

Cult since 1983 - on August 20, 2023 the 41st Allgäu Triathlon will take place at the large Alpsee. New for the coming year is the extended partnership with the high-end component manufacturer CADEX - hence the official event title: "Allgäu Triathlon by CADEX". Registration for the 2023 cult event opens today.

Best middle distance of 2022

The Allgäu Triathlon was recently voted the best middle-distance event of the current triathlon year. Around 3,000 starters tackle the demanding sprint, Olympic and middle distance course every year, thousands of spectators celebrate amateur and top athletes.

CADEX has been a sponsor of the race since 2021, but will be expanding its commitment in the coming year. The brand is best known for the completely newly developed tri-frame, with which Kristian Blummenfeldt has been contesting his races since 2022.

"The partnership brings two brands closer together that have the courage to rethink triathlon," explains Allgäu Triathlon Race Director Marlon Wörndl. "Both CADEX and the Allgäu Triathlon have had a decisive influence on the triathlon scene in 2022." But Alpsee is not only proud of the common mission, as Allgäu Triathlon Managing Director Christoph Fürleger emphasizes: "We are particularly happy to have a partner at our side who is very committed to triathlon and who speaks the same language as we do!"

The athletes should also benefit from the partnership

Together they plan added value within the supporting program that is offered to the 3,100 starters every year in August. “After our engagement with the international top athletes Kristian Blummenfelt and Maurice Clavel, who are already riding our TT bikes very successfully, an attractive event is a logical step for us. Nowhere is there a better place to exchange ideas with the community than at the Allgäu Triathlon at the Großer Alpsee," explains Marketing Manager Christian Frenssen. He is also optimistic about the future of the strategic partnership, which was initially agreed for a further two years.
