The Athlex Flow wetsuit offers the perfect balance of stretch and buoyancy. It consists of highly elastic materials in the upper body area, while technologies for more buoyancy come into play on the legs. These properties help the swimmer to maintain a correct posture and thus an optimal position in the water.
- 39+: The high flexibility of the Yamamoto 39 neoprene, combined with the first-class elasticity of the Inifinty Skin 2 lining, gives open water swimmers a feeling of maximum freedom. Thanks to this combination, 35% less force is required for fast movements than with conventional neoprene. Slower movements and longer strokes require 45% less effort than other wetsuits. In addition, the SCS surface treatment helps to reduce drag and water friction, which improves hydrodynamics and makes it really fast.
- 39 FS: The combination of Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining and Smoothskin surface ensures elasticity, maximum flexibility and thus a complete feeling of freedom. Open water swimmers use 35% less energy for fast movements and short strokes, while slower and longer movements require 45% less energy than with any other conventional wetsuit.
- Aerodome: This new technology applied to the lower torso offers the swimmer 30% more buoyancy. The secret lies in the special structure: there are hundreds of air cavities between two previously treated neoprene layers. Unlike Exo-Lift, the inner layer of this material consists of a high-quality lining that gives the neoprene even more elasticity. Orca uses this material in specific areas, tailored to the swimmer's needs, to encourage a correct swimming movement.
