The TEMPO ARGO R5 is a versatile endurance saddle with a short nose and generous sciatic support for more stability.
While traditional saddle shapes cause riders to change positions frequently for better leverage, the Argo puts the rider in a more adjusted position, resulting in more stability and better weight distribution.
The Tempo Argo's short length allows the rider to sit further forward without putting undue pressure on sensitive tissue. It also has an ergonomic cut-out, which was developed based on a detailed pressure analysis and with the help of medical experts
The Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, and each version suits different riding styles. The Tempo Argo was developed as an option for long-distance riding to provide a ride feel that suits the balanced geometry of modern road bikes.
The padding is made of fizik's own Type 2 foam compound, which is slightly thicker in the sit bone area to support a more upright sitting position. The padding is slightly softer and more progressive than what we use on our racing saddles, offering more comfort over long distances.
Argo is a product of the fizik Concepts program, an interdisciplinary collaboration of leading industry experts and academics who conduct research and analysis on technology, design, physiology and bike fit in search of ways to improve cycling performance.
