All bikes are checked in in the transition zone. Now the big counting begins: thirty experts scrutinized each bike to record frames, wheels and other components. As a result, we see which manufacturers have prevailed in Hawaii - the KONA BIKE COUNT 2018!
As in 2018, CERVÉLO is at the top of the wheel manufacturers, but the dominance of the Canadian top brand is coming to an end. TREK, CANYON & Co. are catching up in leaps and bounds. A similar picture emerges when it comes to the wheels: class leader ZIPP still has the most rims on the Queen-K Highway, but ENVE, HED and REYNOLDS are gaining momentum in this category.
