Following last month's announcement that the IRONMAN World Championship would continue with its own race day for men and women, it was announced today that Nice, France will be the venue for the 2023 men's edition of the IRONMAN World Championship.
Appointment on September 10, 2023
The race will take place on September 10, 2023, while the women will start on October 14, 2023 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
In 2024 women and men will then switch places: the men's race will take place on October 26, 2024 in Kona, the women's race will be held on September 22, 2024 in Nice.
This rotation will continue through 2026 , with Nice and Kona serving as co-hosts for the pinnacle event in long-distance triathlon.
