The Mizuno Wave Rebellion for women is a lightweight competition running shoe . The Wave Plate by Mizuno has been reinforced with fiberglass material on this shoe. Compared to Mizuno's other Wave Plates, this Wave Plate offers you more power at the push-off. Runners who attach great importance to speed enjoy optimal support here.
The all-new shoe offers the perfect blend of comfort and flexibility - cushioned on first contact with the ground and responsive in the push-off. This means you are always in control of your run and can enjoy every step.
To enable this unique running feeling, we have developed a new type of MIZUNO WAVE - the glass fiber MIZUNO WAVE. This supports you when landing and offers high energy transfer with incredible propulsion when pushing off. The fiberglass plate consists of bio-based plastic made from castor beans and glass fibers and combines the best of 25 years of Wave Plate development. The fiberglass Wave Plate adapts perfectly to the different needs of all runners.
The upper consists of a layer of airmesh material. This ensures high breathability and great wearing comfort. The tongue is made of stretchy material for a snug, reliable fit. There's also a small layer of foam built into the tongue so it won't dig into the laces.
The new Mizuno ENERZY LITE material in the midsole is made of nylon. The material is 22% softer and 35% more springy than Mizuno ENERZY. The outsole is made of G3 rubber. For you, this means: lots of stability, grip and traction. The Wave Rebellion is slightly wider in the heel and forefoot area, so that you benefit from a stable running feeling.
But the fiberglass panel does not work by itself. That's why other outstanding technologies are built into the Wave Rebellion. MIZUNO ENERZY LITE - the new midsole material is extremely light and offers 35% more energy recovery than conventional midsole materials. In addition, the G3 outsole provides excellent grip even at high speeds.
The shoe's sleek silhouette features a 3D logo design of our Mizuno Runbird for a modern look. The one piece upper and the sewn tongue ensure an excellent and supportive fit.
