The 15th Hannover Triathlon next weekend at Maschsee is becoming more and more of a meeting place for the stars. After the European Championship seventh and local hero Jonas Schomburg and the reigning German champion Lasse Lührs, the next big names have now been nominated by their teams for the most prestigious Bundesliga final on Saturday.
Laura Lindemann - Germany's superstar
With Laura Lindemann (Triathlon Potsdam), the current German superstar of the triathlon scene, who has just won the silver medal at the European Championships in Munich, will be chasing the title in Hanover. The Olympic eighth in Tokyo already has two European championship titles and several World Cup winners in her vita. For this, as well as for the Volks- and Sprinttriathlon, the online registration closes on Tuesday evening at midnight. A limited number of late registrations are still possible on site. A big "SeaSide Party" is planned for Saturday evening in the start-finish area at the lido, admission is free.
