Munich, June 8th, 2021 - Today was our (hopefully last) conversation with the health department and the good news is that on June 3rd/4th we allowed to start the triathlon.de CUP in July. We are very happy about that.
As always, our most important concern is to protect the health of our athletes and helpers in the best possible way. We are paying particular attention to this outstanding goal this year. In principle, the rules of the "Thirteenth Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance" apply. Derived from this, we will present our adapted hygiene concept in the next few days. Basically, the following points will apply:
- In principle, athletes on the boat area are permanently required to wear masks (FFP2) until the start and after the finish line.
- No spectators are allowed on the boat place, ie only people with a competition starting place can enter the boat place. There will be an extended regulation for underage participants.
- A minimum distance of 1.5 m must be maintained
- After crossing the finish line, athletes are asked to pick up their equipment and leave the area immediately to avoid unnecessary contact
