Giant's triathlon bike - Trinity - will be on the hunt for best times again in the coming season. For several years now, the Trinity has had a significant impact on time trial events in cycling and triathlon. Technically, Giant will continue to rely on this proven frame concept in 2021. When it comes to equipment, however, the Trinity is a tire width ahead of the competition: all models are equipped with a power meter on both sides.
The women-specific time trial model - Liv Avow - has also won the hearts of triathletes in recent years thanks to its well thought-out frame concept and chic design. The Avow is also technically unchanged, but with a new look in the starting blocks.
Giant Trinity
The Trinity will also be available in two variants for the coming season. The Trinity Advanced Pro 1 is again equipped with electronic shifting (SRAM Force eTap AXS) and the Pro 2 with mechanical shifting (Shimano Ultegra). The heart of this aero weapon is the same in both cases: the Advanced Pro Carbon frame set, which is only designed for rim brakes, which bite the brake flanks of the wheels with enormous force. When it comes to equipment, however, it really scores points: hydration system at the front, top tube box, aero drinking bottle and bottle cage mount behind the saddle - the full program is included and can be modularly added or removed as required. The real equipment highlight, however, is the integrated power meter : the extremely high-quality Quarq DZero power meter crank was installed in the Trinity Advanced Pro 1, the Advanced Pro 2 has the Giant PowerPro power meter, which takes the power from the Ultegra crank. Both systems measure on both sides. A real added value for the training!

Liv Avov
The Avow is a true women's specific triathlon performance bike. It includes the very latest technologies in terms of aerodynamics and fit. Just like the Trinity, the Avow will also be available in the two variants Advanced Pro 1 and Advanced Pro 2. All the properties of the Trinity can be transferred almost identically to the Avow series: Hi-tech carbon frame set with extensive solutions for the drinking system and storage, only rim brakes, the differences lie in the equipment. The Avow Advanced Pro 1 comes with the electronic Shimano Ultegra Di2 while the Pro 2 is equipped with the mechanical Ultegra gears. Of course, the Avow can't do without the power meter either - both models have been equipped with the Giant PowerPro Power Meter so that the training can take place in a targeted manner right from the start.
